What is a single buggy?
A single buggy, also referred to as a sleigh or sleigh-like carriage, is essentially an uni-wheeled light carriage usually pulled by ONE horse. Amish people often use it and also refer to it a sleigh. Families often choose a single buggy since it allows them to move around with ease.

Different types of single buggies
A light buggy is a great choice for parents who travel frequently using public transport or plan on going on vacation with their child. They are usually less than 6kg in weight and have a compact fold which means they can be easily carried in the overhead compartments for luggage on flights. They are also simple to move making them perfect for city travel. A lot of them come with a sunshade and raincover, which are worth the investment to keep your child happy on any outing!
A jogger buggy is equipped with large BMX wheels and is made to exercise. It also has good suspension, to absorb the bounces and bumps that come with off-road riding. Jogger buggies aren't easy to steer because the front wheel may be able to swivel, and it's vital to lock this when mounting kerbs or crossing roads.
A few buggies are convertible. This allows the seat to be positioned forward or backward (also called parent-facing). This is perfect for babies who are fussy and prefer to be in a position to be able to see their parents. Some models are only forward-facing, therefore they're better for older babies who don't like to be distracted.
There are also tandem buggies that can accommodate two children who are the same age. This is a great option when your newborns or twins are close in age, however, it can be difficult to maneuver, particularly in a small space. Some tandem buggies come with recline mechanisms on each seat so that your toddler can lay on the floor while you push them.
The ideal single-buggy will depend on the size of your family, your budget and your lifestyle. Consider a lightweight buggy that includes a seat that can be used right from the beginning. If you're looking for a way to future protect your money choose an individual buggy that can adapt to a double buggy when the time comes. The phil&teds brand has created the first inline buggy on the market and now offers a range of kit bundles and strollers to help you reach your goal.
A single buggy purchase
A new buggy can be expensive. The majority of pushchairs that come with bassinets for newborns cost upwards of PS700, which can be an enormous amount for parents with limited incomes.
The truth is that absent an area with public transport readily available or have a huge car boot and spend every weekend in muddy parks, the majority of families buy two buggies. One sturdy buggy that is able to handle rough terrain, carry heavy loads and expand with your family, and a second, lighter buggy for use on holidays or in tight spaces like public transport and crowded streets.
Our suggestion is to purchase a single that you love and, if your child gets older and you require more than one, simply pass it to another buyer and then purchase the buggy you'd like. You won't be stuck with a novelty that you don't want.

Double buggy: Purchase one
When purchasing a double-buggy you have a lot to think about, from the amount it will cost to what kind of reclining position the seats provide. You will also want to think about whether you need an enormous shopping basket and what type of suspension the buggy is equipped with. Think about the features you'd like to have on your buggy such as sunshades or rain covers.
There are a myriad of double buggies on the market. The right one is dependent on the person who will be using it, the lifestyle you're living, and your budget. If you are expecting twins, or you have a toddler who is newborn, you may want a stroller that can adapt to your family. UPPAbaby Vista V2 is a great example of this, providing 30 different seating options to suit all different ages. It can be used as a single stroller since the beginning, and later changed into a side-by-side model when your children get older. It can even be used with a third child if the Ride-Along Piggyback Board is added to make it a versatile choice.
Mountain Buggy Duet V3.2 is a different option. This is among the slimmest side-by-side double buggies available, with dimensions that are nearly as narrow as a single buggie. It has two seats that face the world and can be reclined independently. They can also be turned to a flat position. It can be modified to fit two carrycots, cocoons and two baby car seats.
It is easy to fold and can be folded by hand, thanks to the twist mechanism on the handle. It's light and compact, but not as small as the Cybex Gazelle S. It has a smooth brake and good suspension which makes it easy to push across rough surfaces. Pushchairs And Prams are cushioned, and the harness straps are strong, making them comfortable for your children to sit in.
